My Story

I planned my own wedding.
Now I help couples like you.

Some coordinators find their way into weddings through hospitality or event planning. I found mine through my own wedding, a celebration that wove together two families, two cultures, two completely different ideas of what a wedding should look like.

I'm Vietnamese-born, and my husband comes from a beautiful Mexican family. When we got married, we didn't just plan a wedding; we navigated traditions, managed big personalities on both sides, figured out how to honor both of our heritages without one swallowing the other, and somehow made it all feel seamless. It was the most meaningful project I've ever managed.

The Name

Why Two Shores Events?

Two shores is the place where two different worlds meet. Where water from one side finds the other and something beautiful happens right at the intersection.

I was born in Vietnam and grew up in America. I married into a Mexican family. On our wedding day, two shores came together — two languages, two sets of traditions, two families who had never been in the same room before.

That meeting place, where different things come together and create something entirely new, is where I live. And it is where I want to help you celebrate too.

By day, I work in project management (PMP^® certified!) — which means I think in timelines, contingency plans, and vendor communication. I know how to keep complex moving parts on track, how to handle the unexpected without anyone knowing something went sideways, and how to keep every party feeling seen and heard.

I serve all couples across Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro, and surrounding NC areas. Whatever your wedding looks like — I'm here to make it flawless.

Questions we hear most.

What's the difference between your three packages?

All three packages include full coordination on your wedding day. The difference is when I step in and how much I manage along the way. Day-Of is the essentials: you've planned everything and confirmed your own vendors, and about 4 weeks out you hand it all to me to execute flawlessly on the day. Month-Of starts earlier and goes deeper — about 6 to 8 weeks out I take over vendor communication and management, tie up the loose ends, and build your full timeline, so the final stretch isn't on your plate. Partial Planning is for couples who want expert guidance throughout — we start 10–12 months out with vendor recommendations, budget tracking, and design direction, all the way through your wedding day. What types of weddings do you specialize in?

All of them! I work with couples of every background, style, and tradition. I have personal experience with multicultural and blended celebrations, but I bring the same passion and precision to every wedding — intimate or grand, modern or traditional, one culture or many.

How far in advance should we book?

As early as you can. Booking the date and the start of my work are two different things: I'd recommend reserving your date 10–12 months out to ensure availability — especially for peak season (April–June and September–November) — even though the hands-on coordination begins closer to the wedding. For partial planning, the earlier the better, ideally as soon as you've signed your venue contract.

Do you travel outside of Raleigh?

Yes! I'm based in Raleigh and primarily serve the Triangle, Greensboro, and surrounding NC areas. Travel fees apply for locations over 60 miles from Raleigh. Contact me to discuss your location.

What does the cultural tradition planning session include?

This is a dedicated session where we walk through every cultural element of your wedding: tea ceremonies, lazo, arras, unity traditions, traditional attire changes, multilingual programs, and more. I help sequence these moments into your timeline naturally and brief your vendors on what to expect.

What is your payment structure?

I require a signed contract and 50% retainer to hold your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding. I accept credit card, bank transfer, and Zelle. Payment plans may be available; ask during your consultation.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Absolutely! I offer a complimentary 30-minute discovery call for all prospective clients. This is a chance to meet, discuss your vision, and make sure we're the right fit. Use the contact form below to schedule yours.

Are you insured?

Yes. Two Shores Events LLC carries general liability insurance. Many venues require a certificate of insurance before allowing vendors on-site, and I'm happy to provide one upon request.
